Lighthouse has given me a GPS for life…

On November 20th, 2003 I entered Lighthouse after a life of meth & alcohol. It was there I built a relationship with GOD through sponsorship and the 12 steps. I cried out to GOD, “Please help me!” And a peace come over me that is still with me today. “Lighthouse has giving me a GPS for life when I had given up on life.”, “I had to change everything!” I had a great teacher at the Lighthouse, Odis, who led me to listen to Earl Loney (Director of Lighthouse at that time.) After that my life changed. Through that change I have now made my mom proud, I have been able to keep my job for the last 15 years, a wonderful relationship with my wife & kids, and my kids have never had to see me drunk, or high. I gave my 10 year chip to Judge Joe Castlen. I wanted to show him some appreciation for what he had done for me by allowing me to goto Lighthouse Recovery Services. It has been great to sponsor guys and be able to be a positive mentor in their lives today. I give GOD and the Lighthouse credit for who I am today!!
